Novel

Kwetsbaar Evenwicht

Technology is changing how we think, decide and live. In Kwetsbaar Evenwicht, Natacia Metsen and I tell a gripping, accessible story about technology, power and humanity. A novel that takes you into a reality that is tilting, and a story that invites reflection on how we relate to each other and to the earth.

A gripping story of our time, one that invites reflection on humanity and the choices that shape our future.

Cover of Kwetsbaar Evenwicht

A socially conscious eco-thriller about technology, power and humanity, in which different worlds and ways of seeing come into tension.

When forensic psychologist Nuwara Grey, a New Yorker with Hopi roots, investigates the psyche of tech billionaire Noah Porter, she becomes entangled in a web of crime, technological breakthroughs and power.

The story brings science and technology, power and responsibility, reason and intuition, progress and our relationship with the earth into tension with each other. Without offering easy answers, it asks what it means to stay human in a world where systems and technology hold ever more influence.

Co-authored with Natacia Metsen and published by House of Navoti'yta.

The novel is currently available in Dutch. An English edition, titled Tenuous, is in development. Let me know if you are interested →
